France Climate
France in general has a climate that has alot of variety. In general winters are temperate and summers are mild in most of the territory of France, especially in Paris.
When going along the coast of France around the Mediterranean and in the southwest the winters are usually mild and very hot summers. In the southwest of France the winters tend to be very rainy.
In the Northwest of France (Brittany) there tends to have mild winters with lots of rain and cool summers
At the German border, Alsace, tends to have cool to cold winters and hot summers.
The Rhone Valley has occasionally a strong, dry, cold north-to-northwesterly wind known as the mistral.
In the Mountainous regions of France like the Alps, Pyrenees and Auvergne there is cold winters with lots of snow.
France Terrain
France has mostly a terrain that is flat or has rolling hills in the north and west. The remainder of France is Mountainous.
